04 Stratus Radiator Fan Connector Pinout

After running a bit warm while parked idling a few days ago, I noticed my elec. fans never turned on. Code scanner revealed good temp sender. I popped the engine elec. box cover off and found blown fusible link cartridge 40A appears to power both fans + A/C clutch circuits/controller (Haynes is weak in this area for my model)...

So, I popped a new one in...four days later, it blows again. I drive 80miles a day and have 184k on this 2.4DOHC 4 banger and the problem may have begun weeks ago and gone unnoticed. It only runs warm when idling on a hot day, and I first operated the A/C a few weeks back and it didn't work...but there is (weeks later) still a faint smell of burnt winding near the radiator. Too crowded and too faint to tell where it originates.

To make a short story long, I need the pin out for the motor plug (2-speed, 3-wire) so I can test it with a fused jumper wire.

I blew one more fusible link today (immediatley when the temp called for hi-fan, i think) so, if I can cut that connection (remove pin from connector if possible) before I send my son on a road trip in the morning, I will sleep easier and not worry about him overheating it.

It seems to be okay with the passenger side (condenser?) fan disconnected, and the other (radiator?) fan connected, but it's been cool out since I put the last fusible link in.

I also need advice for disconnecting the connectors with the little red p.o.s. locking tabs in them. The next connector upstream of the harness has this and I haven't fingered out how to unlock and unplug it...

I can live with a low only fan and watch the gauge, but without tint and black cloth interior, the A/C must work....

TIA
Paul

P.S. I was gunna post pics, but I just dropped my sd card under the power seat and it actually slipped right under the carpet through the seatbelt opening...
