I would be happy to look into this as well. In order to do further research, I will need the VIN for the vehicle as well as the current mileage. Please feel free to contact me via private message if you would like. Thank you in advance.

Press the fog light switch to the on position. IF it lights that tells you that the fog light relay is working, the switch is working providing voltage over to the HVAC/IPM & DIM. Using a volt meter, select one of the lights and remove the light bulb from the socket. Probe either your purple/white-stripe left fog light) or purple (right side fog light) wire for 12 volts. If you have 12 volts then you're getting power from the relay and power side is working. Looking on the top of tranny, located there is some grounds one of them is the splice pack. Its a black plastic square box. Unbolt it, check for corrosion, take apart the pack itself and clean it. Put it all back together. IF that doesn't work, then the simplest thing to do is tie a ground wire to each socket. If you have a problem with power then you need to pull the fog light relay and probe for 12 volts from the fog/drl fuse and determine if you have a broken wire issue between those points or a bad fuse. If none of that works, then the Dash Integration Module (DIM) may have an issue because it controls the relay OR there is an issue with the serial bus wire that provides signaling to the DIM to tell it to provide the ground to the relay or there is an issue with the HVAC/IPM ((intstrument panel integration IPM)) module, or the fog light switch itself. Go to autozone com, plug in 2002 bonnie, look up the fog light diagram for more information to follow along this post.
