I am working on a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am 2.4L it starts fine, runs fine, plenty of power but after driving 10-20 miles it stalls and won't restart unless you leave it sit for about 10-15 minutes, I was thinking fuel pump was overheating and dying, I sprayed starting fluid in the air tube and it fired right up but died a second later after the starting fluid burned up but I can hear the FUEL PUMP kick on when I turn the key on. Theres no schrader valve to connect fuel pressure guage to on this engine.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks

1) Check pressure at the filter!
2) Also get your catalytic converters tested, I have seen a plugged cat choke an engine out with no DTC's.
