I am sure that this is an oldy but goody - what causes this? Sensors in the seat belt mechanism or under the seat?

The SRS light comes on when there is a malfunction in your airbag system. Unless you are qualified to work on this system, I would suggest brining it to the dealer to get a diagnostic done on the system
