 Last night I started my 99 Blazer and it started vibrating/shaking after I sat there for about a minute deciding on whether or not to drive it it slowly went away. After I drove it it was fine. I started it again this morning it did it again not as bad though. It just turned over 100,000 miles. Any advice on what it could possibly be or should I just take it in since the miles are so high. We are planning a trip to North Carolina in July. Want to make sure we're going to make it there and BACK. Thanks for any info/advice

Was it wet or rainy when you started the vehicle in the am? If that is the case, you may be due for a set of ignition wire set. Are you due for a tune up? Could even be your coolant sensor acting up on you. You will have to get the car scanned to get to the bottom of your problem. Good Luck.

When my 96 Blazer hit 100,000 miles about a year ago it seems everything went to pot on it. Slowly but surely I got everything lined out. But it still has a vibration in it. My husband is a very skilled ASE certified technician and I have never seen him not find the root cause to anyones car troubles except mine. I think it is because I don't nag him for is my car done like his customers do! Maybe I should try that huh?

Thanks for the replies. We ended up changing the spark plugs and that seems to have fixed the problem. It hasn't done it since then.
