Are 1G, 1JZ & 2JZ engines the same?
Can 1JZ be converted to 2JZ?

I think each engine is different. But why ask this question here, why not ask on one of the Toyota forums? Even better, search the net and you shall learn.

1JZ is 2.5L, Parallel Turbo
2JZ is 3.0 Sequential Turbo
