I just replaced my old broken wiper switch with another one on my 92 Civic Hatch, and when I turned on the car the switch was off, but the wipers where going. I then turned it to Hi and it stopped working all together. They work if I use the mist. I even installed my old one and it wont turn on or off with the OFF LO and HI. What could be wrong? I checked all my fuses under the dash and didn't see any popped fuses.
I don't want to take it to Honda and pay big bucks for them just to look at it and tell me whats wrong.
Thanks!

i gues this wasn't the same thing that the old switch did? did you put in a used switch if its used and the wipers are doing something diffferent try a new switch.

Thanks for the help. Yes the switch was a used one I got at a wrecking yard. I opened it up yesterday, and found that the plastic piece that moves the contection when you turn the wipers on and off was broken. So I guess I have to find another switch.
