How do you install a 2000 Style Civic CI front end onto a 96 Civic Hatch? what is required? are they any aftermarket kits?

not sure, but Ill bet there's some serious cutting involved. got any pics. Im not too familiar with the 6th and up gens.

well the front ends look similer... so im wondering how hard it would be, and if its a job for me and my local body shop

you would need the radiator support, front bumper, fenders, and headlights.

Don't forget the grill. The 96-98 won't fit. Other than what liquid8 listed, that's it. I'm sure no cutting or welding is needed.

no welding required. the radiator support is not neccesary unless you want perfection, the only cutting will be done is on the bumper. the reason for that is because the 96-98 radiator support is longer than the 99-00. you won't be able to see the cut once the girl is put on.

you could always use the girl to cover the imperfections :)

so i could use the stock support? and i would just have to do some cutting that wouldnt be noticable? does anyone have any pictures?

96-98 can be changed to 99-00 all you need are fenders, bumper, and hood. Its prety simple bolts right up...
