Civic HB... Si Front End?IntegraB18LS 05-12-2003, 08:05 PM How do you install a 2000 Style Civic CI front end onto a 96 Civic Hatch? what is required? are they any aftermarket kits? Kyle wheel1856 05-12-2003, 08:31 PM not sure, but Ill bet there's some serious cutting involved. got any pics. Im not too familiar with the 6th and up gens. IntegraB18LS 05-12-2003, 09:08 PM well the front ends look similer... so im wondering how hard it would be, and if its a job for me and my local body shop liquid8 05-12-2003, 10:27 PM you would need the radiator support, front bumper, fenders, and headlights. B16EJ1 05-12-2003, 10:35 PM Don't forget the grill. The 96-98 won't fit. Other than what liquid8 listed, that's it. I'm sure no cutting or welding is needed. emerge 05-12-2003, 10:39 PM don't forget the hood... ok now everything has been said. ZombieMan 05-12-2003, 11:04 PM no welding required. the radiator support is not neccesary unless you want perfection, the only cutting will be done is on the bumper. the reason for that is because the 96-98 radiator support is longer than the 99-00. you won't be able to see the cut once the girl is put on. ZombieMan 05-12-2003, 11:05 PM oops, i mean grill, not girl IntegraB18LS 05-13-2003, 08:56 PM Originally posted by ZombieMan oops, i mean grill, not girl you could always use the girl to cover the imperfections :) so i could use the stock support? and i would just have to do some cutting that wouldnt be noticable? does anyone have any pictures? Kyle ZombieMan 05-14-2003, 04:00 PM yup, a girl will cover anything up. everything will be a bolt on process. well here's a pic for you to see, since i don't know how to upload pictures on here, just click this to see what i;m alking about. http://www.geocities.com/imageanimemaster/jdm.html BrokenLimits 05-15-2003, 01:17 AM 96-98 can be changed to 99-00 all you need are fenders, bumper, and hood. Its prety simple bolts right up... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
