just so we can intoduce our selves, just mention what type of cars you draw, how long you have been drawing...and anything else you want to add.

i personally have no prefference. i draw any car that looks good and sporty, be it a supercar or a supermini.

iv been drawing properly (colour and reflections) since about 2000, but i have been just doodeling cars for about 10 years.

I draw, Imports.

I've been drawing for about 8 yrs.

I just started Shading drawings.

i havent been drawing for very long, when I draw I usually look at a real life picture so I can get an ideal look at the car before I start sketching. I think it's much easier that way.

Been drawing since a kid. I am 28 yrs old.
Drawing cars for about 8 years. Just really got back into it from the advice from my brother.

I draw classics, imports, exotics, late american muscle, basically any cool car.

OH, did I mention I read a ton of books :)

Reading another book called the Illustrator 10 Bible.

Oh yah I want to see some drift cars :D

I make up my own supercars and draw them. No color, since I suck at that. I try to make up stats which are pretty unrealistic... I will definitely post the pics on the site in my sig when I have time...

I mostly do quick sketches and put them in photoshop for coloring. It looks more professional. I do a lot of colored drawings but not too many. I plan on going to an art school to study industrial design.

Well, we will have to remedy that. You need to check out a book called

How to Draw Life Like Portraits from Photographs by Lee Hammond

from your Library.

She goes into detail about shading with pencil. Which I recommend for people starting out.

Also swing by barnes and noble and and thumb through some books on pencil sketching and shading I am sure there are other good ones

Have actually always drawn, and Im 15 now.. But its just now I've started drawing them in 3D, until last year they were all in side profile, cos' thats the thing Im best at.. Draw a lot of sport boats and offshore 1 class boats, as well.. As for cars, most are sedans like A6, saab 9-5, bmw 5 ++, and sport cars like murcielago, 911 and so on.. Actually draw a lot of interiors for some odd reason..

I've been drawing since I was 3...I'm now 27. I mainly draw portraits, but when it comes to autos, I mainly draw chevy trucks. I haven't done a good study in a while, but I just bought some 8B pencils...I guess I should put them to use soon. :rolleyes:

just started drawin so call it 30mins of experience :D

When I get the time I like to draw cars- Mainly Italian Thouroughbreds :sun:



I don't shade or color- I'm too lazy for that:p

hmmm.. i'm 40 (old fart ;) ) and have been doodling cars since i was a kid in primary school. my school books were ALL cars.

about 4 years ago i mastered adobe illustrator and decidied to see if all the practice could transfer to computer.

i now work exclusively in illustrator and for the first time in COLOR!!! all my sketches were black & white.

i must say i enjoy the flexibility that computer art gives me -- no more erasers.. if it dont look right i just delete and redraw.. i can also try different paint schemes without drama

I draw any cool cars I like and i been drawing since like 6th grade and in in 8th now going to 9th after summer.

ive been drawing cars for more than 5 years now, and i draw any kinds of cars.

I've been drawing for about 11-12 yrs. I only use mechanical pencil and I draw basically whatever car I see that I want to draw. I drew Barbara Striesand's (prolly mispelled) car in art class my 12th grade year. Just whatever....

Never really was good at drawing "organic" objects:redface: I mostly draw cars though:bigthumb: Never any real cars but concept cars. I'm not really good cause all my autos are side views. Hi...my name is Joe...ive been drawing cars since i was in second grade, 6 years old, i am now 14 years old and am going to 9th grade...i draw mostly Japanese cars, in other words imports...all my life cars have caught my attention...i started by drawing cars that i would see in Cartoons, in other words futuristic automobiles, but in 5th grade my whole point of view for my drawings changed into drawing realistic cars...i started drawing imports alot since Auto Tunning and Street Racing was a big thing in my family...which also led to my hi knowledge for hooking up cars...ive caught the attention of many people with my drawings...ive won almost every year in my middle school in art contests and am really proud of my talent and hope to become a car designer...here are my two latest drawings, and as u see they are both Honda's, wow wut a coincidence...lol...i jus started doing shading on my cars so take that into consideration when your looking for good shading

i really plan to pursue a career in transportation design and im trying hard to get my skills up to get into ACCD .

i'm 18 years old, my name is tim. I've been coloring drawn cars/objects for about a year now with photoshop. Other than that I've been trying to draw good my whole life. I used to be good but then I got into games and that kind of spoiled the whole thing. So now I can't draw, I hide behind my savior, photoshop.

Drawing since Kindergarten, but I rarely shade or color my drawings. I really should, but I was never good at that. I create some pretty curvy complex designs, so shading them is a nightmare

Im going to be attending next year a special school...its called Passaic County Technical Institute....this school will focus me more into Graphic Arts....but i hope on getting a head start since i already got sources...:bigthumb:

Yup its a college with transportation design, one of America's best I think? Theres also College of Crative Studies and Academy Art. Art Centers website is www.artcenter.edu I dont get how the average freshman is 23 yrd old. Is it that much training, and skills required before you actually can go in after highschool?:eek7:
