I've got a healthy amount of skepticism on how long it'll stay.

Any idea on cost?

They have pricing on the site. I think it's like $115 for a starter kit.

Im pulling 40 -60 hour weeks at school i dont have the time and my car gets the worst of it a month or two with no GOOD wash and wax (like not one i god from texaco) and it looks like crap. Not to mention its black so its hard to keep clean to begin with.
If its real id definately look into it more closely. Has anyone had any experience with this product?

Your paint needs to be perfect for applying that stuff, which in most cases only a detailer can do properly. You could use a paint sealant which last for 6months to 1 year. Even the best "wax" only last for 30 days or so. Real wax provides no shine, the shine comes from the prior steps which usually is polishing. Glaze fills in all the minor scratches giving depth. Then comes protecting waxing or sealing

I think 3m makes something very similar. i was gonna get it for my car. but the pieces that cover (film) are factory cut to fit OEM gear only.. you should be all set if u don't have a kit. I think its worth the investment if you wanna protect from highway rocks an shit...3m boasts a 5 year lifespan on their clear coats.
