i know that a suspension lift would void the suspension warrantte because you replace it, but would a body lift void the warrantee on any parts of my x?

Alot depends on your dealer. Some guys here have dealers that will fix just about anything.

In general if a part is broken because of something you modified the dealer will not cover it.

You would probably have a difficult time getting warranty repairs for anything related to the suspension, brakes, or driveline with the lift. Legally, Nissan would have to prove that the lift was at fault, but because a lift really could cause problems with any of those components you would have to prove otherwise.

Even putting larger tires on gives Nissan the opportunity to deny warranty coverage on suspension, brakes, and driveline and legally they could easily win a case since larger tires do put more stress on other parts.

Goliath is right though that it depends on the dealer, but I would have to say that you'd be better off planning that things won't be covered...then you can be pleasantly surprised in the event that they do cover them!

The dealer has to prove that it was the "lift" or whatever part that caused the damage, they cannot just say the lift affected the driveline.
