i'm looking at a 95 Blazer LS 4x4 auto. A good friend of mine is selling it. 130k on chassis and motor, 55k on rebuilt tranny.

are there any common problems that I need to be aware of that will be costly in the long run? i am very knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles, and i plan to maintain this Blazer like i have every other vehicle i've owned. i've heard of problems with the wiper circuit board, and hood bolts coming loose. anything else like that?

FYI, here's what i plan to do immediately upon purchase:
front upper/lower ball joints
outer tire rods
alignment
new brake pads/rotors and flex lines

The wiper circuit board is now under a recall so you will not have to pay to have that repaired.

The only thing that comes to mind with the 4.3W engine is the fuel injector assembly. The cost of the injector is the major part but replacing it is fairly simple.

I would estimate parts for this would be around 500.00

Other than that they are a very reliable vehicle.

Good luck.
