X50TimSalewsky 05-04-2003, 03:26 AM I was at the dealership today and I noticed that they had some 911 Turbo "X50"'s on the lot. What does X50 mean? Thanks. crayzayjay 05-04-2003, 09:18 AM Its a performance ugrade for the 996 Turbo, consisting mainly of a power hike to 450bhp. needless to say, a very fast car :D Bose2713 06-07-2003, 02:33 AM The X50 is basically the computer package that comes with the GT2. It will take a stock turbo of 415 HP to 456 that of the GT2. Only difference is now you have 456HP in an all real drive car, not real wheel. Needless to say a sick option, that will cost you around 6 grand I believe.:D GTi-VR6_A3 06-07-2003, 02:42 AM 1) will it be coming to the us? 2) does osme one wanna buy me one hmm sounds liek i would rather have that than the GT2 almost i really like the porsche awd system very smart stuff -GTi-VR6_A3 TimSalewsky 06-07-2003, 03:08 AM X50 is a turbo power kit engine option for the 911 Turbo raising the power output to 450 hp for a price of $17,880. From Porsche website: "Includes modified turbo chargers, intercoolers, electronic control units and transmission. Note: Also available in conjunction with Tiptronic S." I don't really know how with this 911 Turbo engine option how it will compare with the GT2. I like the GT2 better anyway I think. crayzayjay 06-07-2003, 09:04 AM For what the GT2 sets out to do, the Gt3 is a better alternative vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
