Hope someone can help, tring to buy 1988 200sx turbo but it has a leak at the turbo on the exaust side. Obviously this would cause a lack of boost but would it cause the car to start missing at 3200rpm and up below is fine. Does anyone think there is an ignition problem or would the lack of intake manifold pressure cause this. Sorry about the pain in but? Thanx for the help.

I think that would do it. I'm not sure since I haven't really messed with a turbo. But knowing how one works, it's probably releasing gusts of pressure above that rpm range. Hope that helps.
