problem starting

I know I shouldnt be posting here, but everyone on this forum has always helped me so much with my camaro problems, and no one has helped me in the cavalier forums so I am hoping you all help me again.

So ok, I have a 2000 cavalier, with the 2.2L, and an automatic. It has a little over 84,000 miles on it. I was told the headgasket was replaced by rhe owners before me. Now since we got it it has been hard to start when it is warm outside or the motor is warm. When it is cold out and the motor is cold it starts nice. Once I get it running it stays running. I normally have to give it some gas to start it though.

I put in new plugs and wires, checked for intake leaks and vacuum leaks, but found none. I gave it an oil change. I tested the IAC and it was bad, so I replaced that. It still starts hard. It also idles rough once it is running, and you can see the motor shaking because of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, like I said you have helped me so much with my Camaro problems and no one in the cavalier forums has helped me yet.

Thanks in advance.

hmmm, I'd say have the ignition module tested.

Can I just take it to autozone to have that tested?

I believe so. Make sure they do it multiple times.

Ok I will give it a shot. I also now replaced the IAT and the CTS. The fuel pressure is also where it should be.

It's my understanding that if you have the gas pedal floored and try st!tying the car that it should not start, it enters flood clear mode. I tried this tonight and it started right away, does that mean a possible leaky injector?
