Clutch pedal question

Hey,
I'm buying used 1999 G20 with manual tranny. It has 34K miles, and when I took it for a test drive, I had to floor the pedal to disengage the clutch. It also seemed like it took a bit of effort to press the pedal. Is that normal for G20's? I know it's hydraulic, but is it adjustable?
I've read several professional reviews for the car, and everyone was raving about the manual tranny, and how light the clutch was. I wasn't very satisfied with the clutch after my test drive. By the way, the clutch doesn't slip at all.
Any input would be appreciated!
Thank you very much!
Regards,
Viktor.

To my knowledge, the G20 clutch is adjustable, though I haven't done it myself (automatic :( ). I know
saturntangerine (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/private.php?action=newmessage&userid=3608) had her clutch adjusted a while back, you may want to pm her.

D'oh! I thought the early G was hydraulic also.

that sounds like a clutch job gone bad.. my clutch is a very smooth shifter... when I press the pedal in, there's hardly NO resistance, and my clutch will slip if I allow it too... And I don't think the Hydro's are adjustable, only the cables.. but I could be wrong...
