97 GSX Injectors.Frostbyte 04-25-2003, 09:55 PM I was wondering if anyone knows if the 97 GSX Injectors are Peek and Hold or are they Saturated? Spectrum 04-26-2003, 04:00 PM Peak and Hold, but can use saturated if resistance box is removed. turbo2nr 04-28-2003, 10:26 AM uh?? wat are you talking about can you please explain what peak and hold and saturated injectors are? sounds interesting... 1 turboawdgsx 04-29-2003, 09:07 AM They'll fit in your motor. It's a bit of shaving required around the inlet pintels, you'll see when you go to install them. I believe you also have to modify the wiring harness to clip in, but not positive. A friend of mine put a set of DSM stock 450's in his Boosted B16a. He's got a FPR to keep the extra flow down. Rob Venger10 04-29-2003, 10:09 AM Real simple solution for you here.....;) Injectors for 98% of all turbo cars are "Peak and Hold" Internal resistance is around 3 ohms , which makes them very quick reacting , as would be required by coming up on boost and falling off boost , which happens very quickly..... Injectors for NON-turbo cars are "Saturated" , internal resistance is typically 30+ ohms... These injectors CAN NOT be mixed and matched with other ECU systems without appropriate precautions. The 3 ohm turbo injectors when plugged into an NT ECU....would simply MELT internally. The opposite would be true plugging NT injectors into a turbo ECU would burn up the ECU....its not designed to push that kind of power. Otherwise , good luck on your conversions:wave: Spectrum 04-29-2003, 05:00 PM Eclipses ECU see saturated even if peak and hold are used. turbo2nr 04-30-2003, 10:19 AM so which one is better? saturated or peak and hold? 1 Venger10 04-30-2003, 11:54 AM Originally posted by sr20det2nr so which one is better? saturated or peak and hold? 1 "peak and hold" is best for turbo cars:alien: Spectrum 05-02-2003, 01:54 PM They are pretty much the same. Its just how they work. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
